What is this?

This is a blog of our great road trip out west. We started in Siloam Springs , AR May 11th, 2007 and ended back again on June 23rd. You can learn more about us, learn more about our route, or start at the beginning of our trip and move forward.

Today was another day in Southern Paradise, and sadly our last day at the Gortez Compound. On Saturday went into Birmingham to drop Jolynn off at the airport, and then we visited Ben's Aunt Karen. Ben's mom made us some good quesadillas, and then we rocked out to some more Kansas. Ben's dad has been exposing us to all kinds of wicked cool music. Oh, and we went to a huge bonfire in a residential area. The most notable thing that happened today was that we dirtbiked again. This time, we went longer, faster, and almost killed some dogs. A key takeaway from the dirtbiking is that life is tougher after you have a college degree, and the only way to stay sensitive is to race bikes on loose gravel at high speeds.
Key recommendations: Yuengling beer (http://www.yuengling.com/index.htm) and afternoon naps.
